Enhancements for Task Manager
We are excited to announce that Phase 2 of Task Manager enhancements are live on CommunityPro®. These updates improve user experience with task creation and editing, making it easier and more intuitive. These enhancements include the following:
Create or Edit Task (Recurring): Recurring tasks can set up directly within the task creation/editing screen as follows:
- New section: “Recurrence Information”

- Create or Edit Task (Non-recurring) – Regular tasks are managed with the following:
- Sub Tasks

- Sub Task Display – a new three menu appears on the right side under Options instead of a separate option and the user can interact with the menu to edit or delete the task.

- Uploading attachments – user can upload up to (3) JPG images or PDF files. In the Edit View, the last saved files, descriptions and download buttons are visible to the user. The download icon is on the right side of the attachment.

- In the View screen, the download icon appears to the left of the file name.

- Toast Message

- When the user is on the form page and clicks the save button without completing all the required fields, a toast alter message appears at the top of the page informing the user of missing information.

- Sub Tasks or Attachments: In both sections, these empty states clearly identify when there is no sub tasks created or attachments available.

- When a homeowner or board member creates a work order in the homeowner portal, there are mandatory fields. If this information is missing, the system will highlight the field in red with a small error message.
